One of my favourite things to in the school holidays when I was a kid was to make paper dolls. I remember the first ones I made; my aunt sat down with me on the floor and sketched the outlines of some fairies and I coloured them in. I loved watching her pencil move over the paper as she drew in the details, it was magical.
In memory of my childhood paper dolls; I have made you Oscar and Esme. These are perfect for a rainy day. They will keep your kids entertained while they make them and provide further entertainment afterwards as toys. Print them off for an activity today, or save them for Easter goody bags on Sunday.
Download and save the pdf files below.
Print bunnies onto 200gsm card stock (you can purchase this at Officeworks)
Cut out the pieces.
Attach the limbs: use circular paper fasteners or string.
Stay tuned, later this week, I will be posting a colouring in version, as well as some other sweet characters.
These are original artwork and are created for personal use only. Enjoy them.
